Slow Car Sorry :-/

(cropped version of Honk all you want :-/ - Imgur)

Is this anyone on here? I saw a picture on here the other day, but it might have been an old thread. I looked through recent pictures and did not see anything.

Way down in the comments, we are briefly mentioned. There was also a fair discussion on needing to turn off the AC to accelerate that entertained me.

Cheers!

Hahahhaha I kinda feel that way in my Echo. I feel that its sorry, beat up look makes the statement on its own. But my truck...I am speed limited to 60mph, so I have toyed with the idea of having a magnetic call out saying "vehicle speed limited to 60mph" that I can put on the trailer. The abuse is far worse in a truck than a crapmobile.

I have an '83 VW Quantum diesel wagon which accelerates like a lawn mower tractor across intersections from a stop.
I recently added a custom rear license plate frame that says................
CLASSIC VW WARNING

0-40mph IN 3 DAYS!!!

Is it turbocharged at least? The naturally-aspirated ones that I used to see in the summer were really slow with just 50hp

I had a 1960 beetle, 36hp. It decelerated up hills. You could literally put a brick on the gas pedal when driving on the freeway.

I had a number of 36hp VWS, the 1956 sunroof was the earliest. Here it is around 1980, patina'd before patina was cool.

Never underestimate the power of an electric vehicle haha...love seeing cars that are beat up on the outside but tear up the roads! Not sure if it's the case here but regardless
