The bed is begging for a 15 degree sloped lexan cover.
I don't think that 'truck' looks too bad. But you know about opinions. They're like rear ends. Everybody's got one and they all stink.
Thoughts on styling;
A lot of vehicles over the years have come from the auto makers that I initially thought, 'YUK!', but now have grown accustomed to seeing on the road. The Chevy Avalanche is the first one that comes to mind. I didn't like the Toyota Matrix the first time I saw it, and now I drive a Pontiac Vibe! Go figure. I do, however, still wag my head at the Pontiac Aztek, the Honda Element, and the Scion box thing, whatever they call it. And I'm not even considering aerodynamics. I think they're just plain ugly. But people are buying them.
My point is, Detroit can come out with ground-breaking designs/styles when they want to. Look at the stir Ford made with the Taurus in '86. Nothing like it on the roads at the time, and it became a smashing success.
