No fan was ever designed to create air flow in the opposite direction of the natural air flow when the car is moving. I think you actually fixed it when you get them to pull air into the engine...

Push fan in front of radiator pull fan behind radiator. The fans running backwards could actually be the problem, reverse the connections, if there are only two wires.

Did you read the "Caution 30 PSI systems only" warning on the pressure tester, BEFORE the red zone. You had the pressure tester pegged, not good. I doubt your system is over 15 PSI.

It may pass a compression test but fail after it is hot, it might not even fail until it is subjected to the highest sustained load like climbing a 2 mile 7% grade.

It might show up on a leak...
