Thank you EcoModder!

Thanks to learning the bump start technique I didn't have to wait for a tow truck and get it jump start it. I pushed my car out of the parking space, the car started rolling down the hill I tried to bump start it in 2nd gear twice and it wouldn't start so I put it in 1st and barely got it started. So thank you for teaching techniques like bump starting.

If you keep practicing, you should get it to go in 2nd gear with no problem.

I try to avoid 1st gear bump starts, because supposedly it puts more stress on the engine, and if you're going too fast, than it can mess something up. I'm not sure of the accuracy of that, just something I've heard.

Bump starting has saved me many times, my starter was dead for about a week, but luckily, the parking lots at my school were mostly hills, so I was able to bump start it until the weekend when I had time to work on it.

The speed was too low to start in 2nd. I knew to start in second but there wasn't enough speed. I barely had any room, I did this inside the parking garage and I had about 100 feet to start my car. I was in between the first and the second level. If it didn't start on the third time I would of probably had to call AAA. Every time i braked my car would start stalling, every time I was standing at the intersections it would try to die. So at intersections I had to sit and rev my car like some crazy maniac.

I made it to my destination and got a new battery.
