1994 civic vtec -e would turbo kit get more mpg

Not likely.

No.

You want lower density air in your engine so the fuel has less to mix with. Cramming air in at higher pressures will only let it mix in more fuel... and you know what that means.

Sure a turbo one can get 55 mpg, however a normal D15z1 (vx vtec-e) will do better than that right from the factory. Why modify and put time/ money into something to maybe get the same mileage you already had.

I'd trade you my B18 Del Sol for your hatch. :D
Leave it stock man, it's an awesome car. |
If you drive in an ecomodder fashion you might get the 'same' mpg because you would never engage the boost.
The idea behind a turbo is to allow an engine that would underperfom in hp to provide more hp only when needed. THe new Eco-drive hybrid from Ford, the fusion, has the ecoboost turbo BUT also has an electric motor. that is where the increased mpg is coming from |

The 3 stage vtec car has a p28 I believe which made it easy to tune. No way to tune a p07
