new alternative to a full mirror delete

hi

on some cars you can push the mirrors in when parked to stop them from getting hit by drunks. on mine you can't. they are just spring loaded. so today i drilled and pinned my drivers side mirror. this is such a small opperation that it probably would go un noticed by cops, insurance co and its reversable in less than a second. just need to pull the pin out.

Was thinking about doing that with my passenger seat with hood clips (so its still safe) but wasn't sure if it WAS safe, so never did it...

Good idea on mirrors

Coolio. I think you can add a convex mini-mirror to the end of the now "folded-in" mirror. It could be like the one that Sean T. is using :

That way, you can always (at least claim to) be legal.
