Hello everyone,

I've been a bit busy this weekend, got to doing some aero mods as I have seen posted here.
List of Mods includes:

Pass mirror delete
antenna delete
front wheel spats
rear wheel spats
front corner dam extensions
Side skirt extensions
Gasket all shutlines in front. (hood, headlights, grill, pillars)
34 psi tire pressure
I feel wheels are already pretty clean (?)
Scan Gauge

Next Mods? any advice? I do want to make the vehicle look stock.

The scan gauge tank averages:
1: 39.5
2: 42.2
3: 43.6
4: 46.1

This is when I decided to do all the seals in front (hood, windshield, headlights, bumper etc) and lower side skirts, and lower dam extensions. washed waxed the car and ready to beat the 46.1....

5th tank: 54 MPG

Also wanted to say I didnt get into the idea of hypermilling until about tank 3 or 4. I will put up photos of the mods today. So excited to break 50!!! This is all based on my 80freeway/20city% commute of 65miles in two directions at 75-80mph (2800rpm avrg cruising). In California now, Pasadena to Camarillo 5 days a week.

Congrats. Yeah, hypermiling even using a few simple techniques can really skyrocket your mileage. Of course the mods don't hurt either. :)

Sooo True!! I will take some pics of the mods and post after work. :)

Ewww. j/k... That's actually not that bad of a commute as far as Southern California is concerned.

I might see you on the road from time to time.

I'm trying (not too hard) to organize a Southern California EM meet-up. And BTW, this is a great looking set of mods on this Saturn. Great numbers too. Enviable execution.

Yeah its not that bad of a drive. I manage to cover the 65 miles each way in about 60 mins, max 75.

It would be great to have a meet sometime. Best way to learn is to see the mods we talk about.

As far as the car I'm thinking grill block, truck extension, wheel covers maybe... not sure if belly pan is too practical tho.

lol... That would be an interesting meet, indeed. Nothing like typical meet ups I've seen down here. Might be interesting to include some of the local EVers... especially the DIY crowd.

I'll add both of you guys (Lagodaboy and 96SATSL) to the list and soon post an announcement in the events and meet-ups forum. Hey, 96SATSL your wheel-cover plan sounds cool. Want to do a write-up for the DIY forum here? Would be great to see it in process.
