I don't know if they ever made the movie, but this addition to the first video, a couple years later, shows an oddball sense of humor too:

It would be a great way to "carpool" if you lived near some friends that also worked for the same company.

It was over a decade ago, but some guys in Comox, BC Canada built one of these, and took it in a local parade, along with a couple of other bikes. The parade was a fairly tedious affair, used for practice by many bagpipe bands and cheerleader squads, alternating, with few local floats. Our Premier had recently been busted for a DUI in Hawaii, so I was there in a backpack puppet caricature of him, staggering along near the car, alternately offering sips of my martini to the crowd and the driver. We were the comic relief, and had a great day.

Now for a streamlined body shell. Use the paper model plans for your favorite car and do it in Coroplast.

If you do this, the only tape that will stretch over the seams and stay put is 3M #190. It goes under a different # in large rolls, but I lost that one. For lots of tricks for building a very light, rugged Coroplast body, see https://microship.com/bob-stuart/ It takes a while to load, but the Coroplast article is at the bottom.

Great article! We have had success with the new Gorilla tape as well. I overlap panels and connect with small zip ties. The Coroplast site will direct you to the nearest dealer.
