The Bugster
 

I followed a link from somewhere on ecomod and found a german vw site that showed the Bugster. Sort of the 2010's version of the economy porsche.

It showed obviously a vw bug with an Audi tt type of lower roof. Sort of custom.

Does anyone have any info on it?

I might have seen one driving around. Looks like a big vw bug.

I'm pretty sure the Bugster is a VW concept car.

Wow Tony, We are lucky to see a VW of any type around here.

My next car will be a VW. My 86 is that good.

Google gave me "about 1,400,000" hits for "Bugster".

When I did it (only took a few seconds even with my glacially slow dial-up :eek: ) the first page of hits were very informative and were complete with pics. I only had to look at a few of the synopses and open the Motor Trend page to pretty much know what the Bugster was all about.

Too bad your Google doesn't do that.
