A/C Condenser airflow needs - full grille block

How do you guys handle the cooling needs of the air conditioner when you have a full grille block ?
How can you tell if the size of your opening is too small ?
From what I have read, when the condenser is clogged, your A/C just won't cool well.
That seems like an easy indicator, except that I have read that if you put too much stress on the A/C, it could blow the seals.

I live in Texas. A/C is mandatory for life.

Maybe trying some NACA ducts?

1) air flow to the coil would be a requirement. Walter Korff, of Lockheed Aircraft Corporation provided inlet and ducting geometry parameters for us in 1963. It's in my photo-albums somewhere.
2) a non-aspirated, heat-conductive 'panel', in which the 'coil' is thermally-bonded to the inside, as part of the belly, could serve the same function, with zero drag penalty ( ISUZU 'Glider' technology ).

The short answer is open up your grill and look for aero gains elsewhere.

I find A/C to be a pretty large hit to mpg. I would not do anything to make the A/C system work harder.

I wonder if the metamaterial to radiate into the darkenss of space will be applied as a vinyl film?

Skin radiators might make a comeback.

Measuring radiator flow.

Curiously, AmateurAerodynamics chose the same vehicles as you. :)

i turn the ac on with max heat in the winter because its so rainy and humid here. if you dont, youll fog up inside. i had full grill block and no issues. then again, i was trying to provide heat in the winter, versus cooling in the summer

In my previous P307 I had powerlock motors to open the grille block.

That would be a good setup, yet finding some way to set a safety temperature to make it open automatically to prevent overheating is desirable.
