Can anyone figure out this video?

I would like to share this video: https://abc7.com/video/embed/?pid=3097283, but I cannot figure out what filetype it is, let alone figure out how to share it aside from just the URL. I found a few videos on YouTube, but apparently not only was the filmer loud and intolerable, but she also filmed in portrait, and I have had mixed results cropping video. I found another that has it in landscape, but they superimposed other video clips that I do not want.

Do you guys have any idea?

Thanks!

I was reluctant to click on some random link, but I did craft a search string for DDG that goes [inurl:https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo abc7.com] and looked at the statistics.

At Alexa (not that Alexa, the other one. No the Other other one) I find

None of which is to the point. If you choose to visit that site in a browser like Opera, you can right-click on the video and choose inspect element. You're on your own from there.

Alternatively, save locally and open the file in VLC (Video LAN Client). Choose File/Streaming/Exporting Wizard and see what file type it defaults to.

I inspected the video here: https://abc7.com/traffic/video-road-...-side/3096930/

As far as I got was that video. When I right-click and inspect element I do not recognize anything important. I see many references to one or more m3u8 files, which also link to one or more m3u8 files.

Road rage, huh?

I opened it in notepad. Where is the video itself?!

It's in the cloud. Welcome to your future.

Quote:

Streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider. The verb "to stream" refers to the process of delivering or obtaining media in this manner;[clarification needed] the term refers to the delivery method of the medium, rather than the medium itself, and is an alternative to file downloading, a process in which the end-user obtains the entire file for the content before watching or listening to it.
It's similar to Usenet where you could view [porn] files without downloading to your machine.

I have not heard that name in a very long time. Apparently I never visited it.

'The first rule about Usenet is you don't talk about Usenet' was ripped off by Fight Club. Then Fight Club was ripped off by Rules of Internet from 4chan.
