Check out the wonderful aero shape!

The shape of the snow on top of this semi's trailer is a great aerodynamic shape, sculpted by the airflow around it, until it meets an overpass!

That is illegal, by the by. You are required to remove any snow from your vehicle that may impede another driver's ability to drive or maintain control if it dislodges from your vehicle. It is no different than an unfastened or unsecured load, and dangerous to boot. The bridge could potentially suffer damage in a worst case scenario.

Also: Why would he leave it up there? The weight alone must have been costing him a fortune in gas!

In most cases it is difficult to go on the top of trailer and it takes time. If you fall down from there you could get seriously injured or even get killed.

That is also illegal in finland. If something like ice flyes to your windcreen and there becomes a scratch. Truck driver has to pay the windshield.

Hang on, the driver with the camera chose to

1) Drive whilst filming (i.e. is a Muppet)
2) Drive through the snow when they couldn't see without slowing.

Sometimes Darwin seems to fit too well.

assuming that somebody wasn't tailgating him which would make hitting the brakes dangerous
