Chevy Spark + rear diffuser
Wifey's new ride gets its first "real mod"
GP Fabrications unit, very nice piece. http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...28128461_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...23212719_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...80410006_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...37171775_n.jpg |
I'm jealous. I wish someone would make one of those for my Fit! I put a front undertray on, which helped mileage marginally (~1 MPG) but really, really, helped with stability at highway speeds and in windy conditions. But the back end is still open.

Its a universal piece. I had to fabricate/weld some aluminum brackets to mount the leading edge.

I kinda just eyed it up. I put the leading edge just above what I think the main path of the airflow is going coming under the axle. I may have got it right. I may be off. I want to fill in the rest of the area once I get ahold of some aluminum sheet.

Looks purty, but a diffuser needs clean flow to work properly. Since the underbody ahead of it is dirty, aerodynamically speaking, it's probably not doing much!
A belly pan would help. Next project?? |

Question is, how it effects fuel economy. Looking cool can take a backseat.

The tank with it is the best so far...but we will see
