I'm too lazy to do a similar project, but it's somewhat interesting. A friend of mine who died last year and was an enthusiast of cycle-touring would love it.

The trailer has a good low drag shape now streamline the bike.

It's a lunchbox on wheels...for a bear! Nice idea, but not practical to go camping around here in...well, maybe in the city. Unfortunately, the homeless around here, who might benefit from such a device, carry more crap around with them then I keep in my garage...there would be no room left to hold a person in it!

Maybe something like this with a few improvements could be actually more effective as an emergency shelter under certain situations.

I think it's fabulous. Plenty of ways to repel a bear.
