Turing Test
Here's one for freebeard.
I'm always having to solve multiple images after clicking the "I'm not a robot" box.
I've never clicked an ad ever, so I wonder what Google makes of that? You'd think ads just shouldn't be shown to people who click them never.
Anyhow, I've finally been persuaded to use the Brave browser and ditch Google search. I'm still using a ton of Google products though (email, phone, thermostat, smoke detector, streaming device, smart display, youtube).

The only Google product I employ (that I know of) is (drumroll) ...Ecomodder. Oh, and Youtube.
Don't recall the last time I saw a [re]CAPTCHA. Chromium under Pi OS never shows ads except for the live reads in the video. I installed Brave, but it won't launch. 
An interesting channel: www.youtube.com/@abctv. My most recent discovery is www.youtube.com/@peterdibble/videos; I'd seen the videos on Coalca Landing and Pixieland before.
Piwoslaw -- It's local to the PNW. And the big advantage of the Raspeberry Pi? No microphone or camera unless you plug one in.

Well, after this post Google is playing dumb. Can't get the lights on, can't get music to play. Google is vindictive.

I sometimes get so fed up with Google, Microsoft, Apple and all the others that I just want to cancel my internet, trade my dumb smart phone for a home phone, and get a subcription to Hot Rod magazine and call it a day.
