Search online. If it's a common problem, there probably will be a guide for how to fix it.

Welcome to EM! There are a lot of Metro/Firefly owners here, so someone may chime in.

NiHaoMike also has good advice. For drivetrain specific stuff, I go to people who know lots of stuff about my drivetrain. For me that's saturnfans.com .

Ive looked in my service manual for the Crankshaft Oil Seal and Housing replacement, to replace the seal requires removal of the transmission/transaxle, the pressure plate, flywheel and spacer. then requires removing the oil pan. by that time to get there, i may as well have an engine rebuild.

Sounds like a job for form-a-gasket.\

Off topic, are you actually pulling 15mpg in your Firefly, or is that 15 km/L?
