Yahoo, I made it!

After much trying and trying and trying some more, I broke 50 mpg. My 461.3 mile fill-up took 8.8 gallons for an outstanding {for me anyway} 52.42 mpg.

My car has only 1 mod, the nut behind the wheel.

{I'm going to try (later) not to hurt my arm patting myself on the back.}

Feels good doesn't it. I recently broke 50 myself. I am certain the people in my office hate me. I detail my accomplishments to my SUV driving counterparts every time I reach a milestone. They don't want to hear it...but here, bragging is encouraged.

Kudos to you!

It surely isn't that easy, even with a diesel I have to work at it.
With a petrol engine, it's all the more impressive.

Very nice job. No small task with no mods too!
