What the hell did I put in my gas tank last night?

So last night I filled up and reset my in dash mpg meter and got 54 mpg for the tank. Damn impressive considering it's November and the temps I have been driving in are between 35 - 55F.
I have been getting between 53.9 - 54.5mpg since mid September so my tanks stay pretty consistent.

Then this morning on my way to work I end up getting 61.5 mpg!

I havn't seen numbers like that since August and it was only 56F out today.
I trust my in dash meter to be accurate within 2% so I doubt it's something wrong with that.
I also always get gas at the same local generic gas station so unless they got a gas shipment that didn't have any ethanol mixed in I don't know what could have caused me to get such awesome mpg.

I just hope this keeps up for the whole tank and isn't just a fluke.

if its an unbranded gas station its possible they might have had to get a shipment of brand x when normally they use brand y due to nonavailability or cost.

55.7 on way home.
A little better then normal but then I was really pushing it.
May have just gotten lucky this morning.

EDIT: 61.7 into work this morning. I'm done questioning it and am just going to run with it.

Did they re-pave anything? Rolling resistance change, maybe?
