Are scan gauges interchangeable?

I found a scan gauge on Facebook market for $45 but I am not sure if it is right for all the cars I'd consider buying. Are scan gauges interchangeable for the most part or is a different scam gauge required for different vehicle types? I went on the scan gauge site and I saw they sell multiple versions.

They are very similar. However, I do know that they have revised things interally over the years to improve compatability. But, that really shouldn't matter much. A scangauge is pretty much a scangauge.
