I read this article and thought I would bring it up here, I have been wanting a VW XL1 when they come out, now I think this is what I want.

Actually, they have said more recently that these batteries are in the several thousand dollar range; which like the rest of this would be pretty close to nirvana.

But, we have no corroborating evidence for any of it, yet.
