Description: Dog hauler. Big. Red. Heavy. Square. 4 Wheel Drive. Very nice and drives very well except for the frequent fuel stops. Owned for 2 months so far.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: Updated ignition to some Ford 460 TFI components. Larger exhaust. Complete tune up with new MSD wires and Denso iridium plugs gapped wider for TFI. Valvoline 10w30 Synthetic oil. Got 2 more mpg this way even though I had to add a catalytic converter (was missing when purchased).
Removed rear seat (about 75 lbs - no noticeable mpg gain though)

Planned Mods: Block heater. Modern carburetor refit. MSD 6AL Ignition. Taller tires, not wider though. Remove luggage rack. Larger flex dam for the front. Go to synthetic gear oil front axle, rear axle. Synthetics for transfer case, transmission and steering. Repack wheel bearings with synthetic grease.
