Expanding Foam body sculpting

Hello,

I would never have thought to use this much expanding foam, but it seems to have worked for this guy!

This Guy Dumps Weird Goo All Over His Car...

This seems that it could be used to change the shape (and aerodynamics) more dramatically than I would have thought possible using expanding foam.

I've used that stuff and it's tremendously MESSY!

That's quite awesome, wonder if it would work on my bumper.

Messy is an understatement! I built a small pool with waterfall for someone once using it, for their flower garden. It was ok, but it wouldn't have won any contests.
I had the stuff stuck to my clothes, fingers, garage floor, etc.

I saw that done years ago for adapting a bumper to fit (from a different car). Its not only messy, but if used as a structure can be heavy and get brittle.

I love those wheels, nothing like a set of 30 inch rims.

I'm thinking it was only to make forms for 'glass parts.

Mixing up more product! What happens next will blow your mind.
I must have blinked, the next thing I see is finished paint.

Ed Roth did the same thing with plaster of paris.

I have seen this type of work before, from a Artist builder from Lithuania or Poland.
Super car Art or some such thing.

Yeah, but how did he go from the floam to a shiny flawless paint finish? Did he also fiber glass it, sand, prime, sand and paint? Did he just paint right over the floam?
