An oil burning 320 this time..

So, my mate's brother was getting rid of his car, and I was offered it..

185k miles, 2003 BMW 320d

This is the 150bhp version (m47n).

It needs a front strut, front brakes and possibly a front exhaust/front/rear brake pipe and 2 tyres

I paid £peanuts..

What do we think?

And a sad end for the 328..

That's better than any car I've owned. It'll look good going down the road.

Thanks,

Yeah it's a bit too posh for me TBF, but at the price it'd have been rude not to.

Nah, it has no front struts so jut the wheel holding the hub up!

The struts are too good to scrap

Had a bit of a raid about this during the week,

45 minutes spent trying to get the locking wheelnuts off- eventually got 3 of them off.

I also got the blowing exhaust sorted fairly simply, so that was good

The brakes, however, are somewhat more in need of replacement:

So looks like new discs and pads needed there!
