Maybe you can throw a Plexiglas hood on it, paint the engine black and have a solar block heater too.

mmmm cookies!

T Vago beat me to it!
I was going to say that, all jokes aside, I know that people HAVE used cars as solar ovens for baking cookies! |
I use mine as a nice place to cure/dry wood and to heat-treat coatings and vanishes...although last week(112 degrees Farenheit) some of the wood actually began to lightly carmalise and the Tung Oil began to sweat out..

Wheres the button to give a thumbs down or better yet, the middle finger?
I thought this thread would be about heating the interior in cold climates or weather and feature a solar heater of some sort with a parabolic mirror and and fluids. What I do is peel off the tint in the winter, add extra in the summer. I also put a black blanket in the rear in winter, white sheet over the rear in the summer. Once I carried around empty boxes to take up room in the back to lessen the load on the ac. :D |
