92-95 civic question

what is the easiest way to do a permanant grill block
ive had cardboard on the front of my car and it dissolves in the rain
so i want to replace it
i have plexiglass and was wanting ideas on how to get it flush with the front (hopefully) without putting screw holes in the bumper

also what kind of mileage are you getting in your civic
mines a 93 dx hatch and i got 48.5mpg last tank

If you paint the cardboard it should last longer. For attaching your grill block, maybe you can attach brackets made of sheet metal to places that already have screws or bolts.

My 94 CX hatchback gets about 50 MPG on the highway going about 55 MPH. I drove a little over 500 miles on a tank. I tightened the timing belt, fixed a rich mixture problem and advanced the ignition timing a little before getting that result.

How about using some thin sign plastic, aluminum, or laminate material for the grill block?

My '94 DX 4dr. was getting 33-34mpg while burning a quart of oil every 220-250 miles. I drove it pretty hard though too. Engine is currently at the machine shop....
