Anybody interested in a free EM decal or two in return for doing something really easy? Something you already do lots of?

Tim (daox) and I are starting a dedicated forum for a new car. We'd like to jump start it (the new forum, not the car) by inviting members from here to make posts over there. The forum is about a new economy car, so the subject matter isn't a stretch -- no acting required! (I can see this vehicle being genuinely interesting to lots of people.)

Specifics...

• We were thinking: make N posts on the new site, and we'll send you a decal. Make N*1.75 posts and we'll send you a pair. How about N=25.

• We only ask that your posts/threads be somewhat thoughtful, not just the "me too!" variety. (Though you're welcome to make "me too!" posts if you don't count them towards N.)

• And we ask that you space out your posts over the course of 3 or 4 weeks, rather than blowing the whole wad on your first day.

I wouldn't mind having the sticker(s) but nobody would ever see them unless they walk into my driveway to look! But I'd make real posts- well, as real as any of my posts are. :rolleyes:

Also: if we get a whole pile of takers, we're going to stagger it out somewhat so we don't have a huge flurry of activity all at once, and then... crickets.

Up until last night, I hadn't started any of my vehicles since Thanksgiving!

Not many people see my EcoModder decals, either. Not quite as little as that, though ... New Years for me.

Apprehensive about the details though. A forum for a new car will most likely be a forum about a car I know absolutely nothing about.
I suspect you want content on your new site, but it needs to have some quality and relevance. I cannot promise in advance that I can supply those, especially about yet unknown vehicles.

So I endorse your plan, but am wary to sell my soul to an undefined adventure just to obtain some free stickers.
In hindsight I should have chosen my username with greater care ;)

I predict you will know this car better than many on EcoModder, so no soul-selling is required.

(Though it has been noted what you'll consider doing for a pair of stickers... :D )
