I'm sure I could get that jag over 50 mpg. That was a good show.

I like how they started out moaning and complaining about how this was the most boring Top Gear race they'd ever done (except James May, who was thrilled). Yet as the finish approached they were as excited and competitive as ever.

And, oh man that VW Polo Bluemotion... :)

They couldn't resist getting a dig in against the Prius at the end, could they?

(FYI, don't forget MPG figures quoted were Imperial gallons.)

Oh, and what did you think of that "air brake" spoiler on the Veyron! Neat trick.

That was a great Challenge on TG.

I'd have the Legacy any day. Once it has plenty of miles on it I bet it would give much better mpg.

Fifth Gear E1 this season had a rather moronic test -- one gallon in a test vehicle on a track loop until it ran out. They performed several mods (weight reductions, LRR Tyres, Chip) and it worsened mileage.

Blatant Claim: "Modifications do not increase fuel economy". Pfft. :mad:
