I looked in the Ecomodder Garage and I couldn't find a 1992 Metro that looked like a match. He's sighting one Ecomodder in his URL list :

Nice ride! With all the things he's done I'm surprised he haven't dropped an xfi cam in yet.

He started with an Xfi car.
Cam already installed.
He needs a 5* gear from TeamSwift.

As if it was not written big enough at the top of his page...Second time today I skip over things like that. Oh well, I guess I'm done posting for today.

How does the cam advance help? Why was it set "wrong?"

The advanced cam gear works wonders in these engines. I have a 10 degree gear and an economy cam combo in mine right now. My ignition timing is advanced to about 14 degrees now with this setup. Plenty of low end torque and more pulling power in higher gears.
