That tax is the most backward proposal since... probably the intravaginal ultrasound thing they tried to push through last year. This has been the most miserable leadership I think I've ever experienced in the commonwealth. I signed the petition and will encourage others to do the same. Remember to put some force behind your voice by voting this November!

I think it's interesting they mention that... The state makes me pay income tax on scrap metals I take in for recycling...even though it's not a business... Yet I can take the metal to a "clean up day" and throw it in the garbage free. They also tax me for my cistern and septic (hidden as "inspection fees" even though I have a service contract with the company that installed it). Because I don't pay the water works and I get free water when it rains they need to dig in to my pockets somehow. If I were to put solar panels in I would have to pay a permit fee (tax)
