Has anyone ever seen this?

I saw this in one of the many pages that come up when you google hypermiling... Here is the link if you think I made it for some reason :p: http://www.motivemag.com/pub/feature...g_a_MINI.shtml

Said the self-centered, high-blood-pressured prick. Oh, with terrible gas mileage.

Most other drivers don't notice my limited use of hypermiling techniques, except when I'm decelerating too far (from their POV) in front of a red light. I often pass them when the light turns green. :)
I generally drive AT the speed limit, and I've only gotten less than highway EPA once with my Mustang. I must be doing something wrong. ;) |
The main thing the author got right in his piece is that he is, in fact, an ***wipe. As are the starry-eyed approvers of that drivel.

No. All appearances are illusory in essence. I think I'm going to stop clicking on more than once if I don't get see a clue to the actual topic of discussion. There are a few things too complex to describe in a headline, but hypermiling a Hummer wasn't one. |
I kinda get the point, I am a nut in an old sube. large steel rail roof racks, no concern for aero, oversized tires that sound like a monster truck, and 80 in the fast lane when it is 80 as a stampede....high 20s mpg, to 50s (sticky second barrell)...
if by natural build a car is efficient, and powerful enough for its weight and chores... hypermiling techniques are less existent. I believe that is the writers point...and I believe I have read it already, but who cares...he just wants a 3 main boxer engine with awd and jacked up.. :) |
