Coroplast- Flexibility?

Like my other thread, I'm looking for good material to use for an air dam/belly pan.

Does coroplast bend well, or does it fold and kink when bent? For example, could I get a 90 degree bend with a 1-2 inch radius without it kinking?

Coroplast will kink on that tight a radius. I don't know if you can heat form it or not. You might consider using sheet metal in those tight bend areas.

Coroplast is a great material to use overall. It's easier to work with than sheet metal, and it's cheap.

I'd say the minimum radius of curvature is a foot or two. But so what if it kinks? If the kink has a radius of curvature of 0.5", that's aerodynamically similar to what you're proposing.

Have fun modding.
