Here's a direct link to the YouTube video:

They could have wrung a bit more out of it, and maybe with better aero drag and taller gearing...?

Top speed is 161mph, if I am not mistaken. It is amazing to go that fast and be *able* to hear the tire squeal.

no actually they need a better driver. I have watched videos of the track enough that I have it memorized. (it is on my bucket list to drive) but some time he lifted to soon and then gave it a little gas to get to a corner. A few times he didnt stand on it when he should have. then a few time he was in the wrong racing line. all in all good run. but a lot of room to bring those times down.

Why does it need mirrors if it's just going to go forward around the track? Looks pretty barren out there to me - I doubt they really needed to waste the 0.03-0.05 Cd points on fender mirrors.... :P

...because during "real" races, cars *do* come up from behind unexpectedly when they pass you.

Name me one "real" race that this EV would work for. :P

I bet they're on their because whatever car classification they built this to fit requires mirrors. Just the first thing my ecomodder brain saw...

Thats a really cool video. I would love to have something that fast. Maybe a Tesla Roadster would do.
