but they say "we do not facilitate local pickups of individual orders. However, large orders can be picked up from our warehouse" on their about pg. You just have to be in San Marcos, CA. ;)

That would be great! I should mapquest them and see what it'd cost for me to drive down there (if i ever get the $$ i need to start an EV project)

what you want to know is how much a watt hour of capasity is going to cost you, to figure that out multiply the volts times the amp hours, and you get watt hours, those batteries are about 3.96 watt hours, and could, in thoery give 3.96 watts for an hour, not a whole lot for $6 each, $1.51 per watt hour, and that is what you want to know for comparing batteries, the cost per watt hour.
for building an electric vehicle, I've thought about getting Lithuim iron batteries, like DeWalt uses in their 36 volt battery packs, because of their long cycle life.

I learned by reading books, older tend to be better, one of the better ones was a text book on basic electronics, explaned motors, generators, batteries, all that good stuff. I'm glad that you learned something, because that is part of why we are here, and the more you know, the farther you can get with an idea you have, and the better off you will be when asking for help.
