98 Swift Tranny Question

I just purchased a 98 Swift with a bad engine and trans.
I may build the engine since it looks like a better car than my 95 Metro. But first was wondering if these things came with an automatic overdrive?
My wife won't drive a manual (I know. I can here the comments !!!)
But here am I in a situation. Anyone know?

You have three choices.

Murder
Divorce
5 speed

Choose wisely.

LOL!

I would go with the 5-speed.

Tell her my 15 year old sister can drive a manual, is she going to let her show her up?

But seriously, try to get her into it. If you can't, but some big a** tires.
