Gen1 Gen2 Taurus question

Does anyone know if the rear bumper for a 91 Taurus can fit on a 96 Taurus?

I'm convinced the reason i keep getting pulled over is because my car is so ugly. If i could swap BigBen's bumper onto SkuttleButt then it'd save me a lot of hassle from the cops.

According to the books I have it is not supposed to fit.(what do books know?)
I've looked at them both from underneath and I think you could make it work.(great thing about having friends in low places)
If you can't here is a link to used a part that is in-expensive. I'm a cheap b@$t@rd myself. (ask my wife)

It is car-part.com, they are great for cheap stuff.
you gotta know what you're looking at though.
I hope you fare well in court.
Good Luck.

Have you tried covering it up with some coroplast or spray painted cardboard . Do they pull you over for just that or something else and tell you your bumper isn't "up to date" You could do what AndrewJ did with his front bumper with his giant abs air dam, 'cept with your back bumper.
