Nissan fuel cell car.

They have been talking about it for some time but it looks like they are to present test vehicles to the Brazilian market.

Nissan Takes Wraps Off of World

They are leveraging the ethanol capabilities of the Brazilian market to fuel this small solid oxide fuel cell. It acts as a range extender for what is essentially a plug in hybrid vehicle.

Traditional fuel cell performance only gives high efficiency with hydrogen and pure oxygen at low load.
Ethanol water fuel and air at high power doesn't sound like it will make real high efficiency numbers.
