Welcome to the site gdaryl333. Building an EV is a great way to get away from the gas station!

To answer your question, Cd is coefficient of drag...

"The drag coefficient (Cd, Cx or Cw, depending on the country) is a dimensionless quantity that describes a characteristic amount of aerodynamic drag caused by fluid flow, used in the drag equation."

Thank you and thank you daox for your help. I am very interested building my own ev. I love doing projects, and lately I have been turning to the green side. I am looking into being more eco-friendly. I have just finished a small solar panel install on our barn, to power the lights and fans in there. It works great and soon after a little more research will do one for the house. So right now I am just trying to understand what is involved and learning.
Thanks again
