Lots of HHO gen. Qs.

Any info and suggestions are appreciated.

120v, ~ 30 plates, 2 active and 28 passive for 2v operation.

1) Is DC current necessary? Use 120v AC current directly?
Why would current direction make a difference?

2) If AC no good, then a bridge rec. for pulsed DC?
So no expensive power supplies are needed.

3) How thin can plates be? Maybe heavy foil?
Why use more material than is needed to keep the plate flat?

4) Stainless plated aluminum? Maybe cheaper than all stainless.

5) Minimum ideal spacing between plates?

6) Most gen. units have 1 lower inlet and 3 upper outlet holes.
This so the gas can exit easily?

7) Best way to shake bubbles free from plates?

8) How to calculate HHO use only, liter vol. per liter of engine?
Running gas and HHO both is an overly complex setup.

9) Safe HHO storage methods? Tank types, etc.

We shall see...

From my understanding it takes more energy to make HHO than it gives back.

I could be wrong,heck I hope I am wrong.

A liter of HHO has the energy content of 1.5 wooden matches. How many wooden matches do you think you will need to go 60 MPH.

^^^WHAT HE SAID^^^

Never in the history of God's green earth has anyone proven the usefulness of HHO. Do yourself a giant favour and focus on mods that do work. The "65+ Efficiency Mods" at the top of the page is a great place to start. You will not find HHO in there.

Dude, just PM RustyLugNut, he is the only one here will offer even the least bit of help or encouragement. All the rest will just criticize and ridicule regarding this topic.

Not that they're all bad, but overall the ones that post the most seem quite limited and linear. Very useful for aerodynamics stuff and some general mechanical, but past that- YOYOMF.

Good luck and publish your results- good or bad. The bad is usually more helpful.

We are happy to help.

Our community uses science, data, and quantitative testing (at the very least ABA) to determine effectiveness. We are proud to list over 45 clear and proven modifications we have proven to be effective. We are happy to have members like Basjoos, Redneck, and many others who have shown fantastic performance out of these changes. We accept data from others who are able to clearly articulate and give us testing procedures we can duplicate. We are happy to learn from others, and develop ourselves from the knowledge of others.

So for HHO, we have learned it is crap. If you can prove otherwise in an educated manner that others can replicate, we are happy to learn. Please feel free to review one of the many past threads by people who swear it works, but base it mostly off of imagined results, or flawed testing.
