Mark King's Electric Car
 

I met Mark King at the MREA Energy Fair.

He is a young guy who just built his own electric car - FROM SCRATCH!

He gave me a photo of his car with some contact info. I was able to get some more photos from him by e-mail later, but he just told me today that there is a newspaper article on him!

Glad to see that it's mostly built from salvage parts.

Would love to see more detailed build pics... more specs for parts/hardware, etc.

I met him too, really nice quite kid, I wasn't sure what to say when he told me he had made an electric car... then he asked if I wanted to see photos!
VW front end, Etec motor, toro ridding lown mower tranny and i forget what he used for a controller.
he did not however tell me about the jet pack.

Ideal Microcar and great (rather well known!) tale about greasy hands..."but MOM....." Enjoyable 4th of July story!

I just found this video the video that I am linking below and came here to see what was known about his car. Does anyone know if he has a website or has otherwise published more details?

I haven't talked to Mark in a while. I did just send him an e-mail, seeing if he has some more general info posted about his project.

Thanks! I would have searched beyond this site, but I am really struggling to manage my time wisely, and I am extremely stressed about the next several days.

However, I needed to eat, so I used Google while I ate my cereal--it seemed like a poor time to study.

Very cool car. I am a big fan of three wheeled cars. I dream of building an EV Morgan Supersport one day....
