The GM Corvette changed its brand by going mid-engine with possible hybrid system, so can the iconic Ford Mustang. It has always been a coupe but rumors that Ford is about to brand a new model, a 'Mustang' EV SUV. A battery SUV expected to have a 300-373 miles per charge and become a challenger for the Tesla Model Y SUV. Expect the unveiling at the Los Angeles Auto show in November and to be launched in 2020. Ford might revive an old name for its sporty EV crossover, Mach 1.
Yikes! it's like when the Thunderbird became a four-door all over again.
