MY 2000 Honda insight 5 speed for sale.

SOLD SOLD SOLD !!!!!!!! Hey I just listed this car on craigslist but I would obviously rather sell it to someone here.
$3500 to someone on the forum.
I am selling my 2000 Honda insight, its a great car! I bought it from the original owner to fix it up and resell it. I buy alot of insights and restore them as well as I can, and then resell them. Yes the title is in my name.
- Manual 5 speed
- 165k miles
- Clean Title
- No Accidents, Clean Car Fax
- Tagged till 2015
- COLD AC / HOT HEATER
- Good tires ( Bridgestone Re92s)
- A stack of Maintenance Records all done at Honda.
- 6 disc Cd player.
- All original
- Near Perfect interior.
- Floor mats are very good. .
- Just cleaned the EGR plate and EGR Valve.
- Also just Completely Detailed inside and out.
I have the original manual and Window Sticker!
Now for the not sure good: the paint is not perfect,(it has fading on the roof near the windshield also some scraps and some keying marks. it has a the common syncro rings grinding when downshifting from 3rd-2nd-1st . Also when I got the Car the owner said the IMA light had come on, so they stopped driving it. It was not on when I got it, but I did rebalance it with my GCO1 Grid charger and it has still worked great since then. battery was last replaced in 2007, If you want to know more contact me.
This is a very nice insight that you wont be disappointed with while going down the road getting 70mpg

Please PM for more info.

Haha yea, Fresno isn't all that far from me. Thanks for letting me know it was here.

You know, while I'm here, I have a question for you Insight for life. Have you ever dealt with a front end vibration at speed when fixing one up?

Why do I have a feeling that I'm going to be fighting you for an insight when I get rid of my dad's midlife crisis purchase, AKA a Harley Davidson Sportster? All I need to do is rebuild the master brake cylinder on it, put the seat on, and clean it up, might be able to get 4k for it.

There is an insight on CL for about 2.5k: http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/4645022626.html
If I had the money, I'd consider jumping on it. I ran the numbers and I'd break even on it in about 18 months due to fuel savings achieved by shuffling car assignments at home even if I have to spend money to fix the car up even though the CL one is in significantly poorer condition.

well actually I am in Sacramento now anyway lol. I'll update my location asap. to answer your question, I cant recall front end vibration with any of the ones I have driven. but I imagine its a common problem just like any car, either wheels, tires or suspension. where in the car are you feeling the vibrations?

Passengers side. It's the least of my problems right now though.

I'm hoping to pick up one with a rebuilt IMA pack anyway (I think in the sunny states the early battery control module would tend to cook the IMA pack, there was a 10 year /150k warranty extension on it due to the batteries cooking with the old BCM using too much overcharge for the temperatures.)
