My Latest Creation

Hey Ya'll,

I love building custom bicycles. This is my latest.

The Recycler:

The bike started out as a West Coast Customs Jesse James Kid's chopper, but it really sucked in it's original form:

I rescued it from the trash, and spent about $20.00 to fix it.

Nice, now you just need to get a stoker monkey kit.
I assume it is kind of like ridding a recumbent?

Me likey... now, twin-tube backbone and downpipe, add some batts and a motor. Then, me pay for! :P

Nice work, Allan. I'm impressed.

That is one tight chain.

What do you use to do the welding? Also, how do you do the jigging?

Clever. Very nice !

How hard is it to ride ?

Very cool bike !

Hey Ya'll,

Thanks for the comments. If you look at the Products and services page of my website Phreak Bicycles you can see the jig.

The Recycler bike rides very nice. I can even let go of the handlebars momentarily while riding without the front fork flopping over. That is very good for a bike with a 36 degree 48 inch forks.

The Recycler was built on the cheap, but I have and can build electric customs.

This one was electric:

Notice the hub motor. The batteries are in the saddlebags.

That is some amazing work. Have you ever made any tall bikes?

You must get some looks riding those down the street.

Looks like fun!
