Need A Biodiesel maker thingy
Heyguys new here want to kno if you all can point me in the direction of a good used biofuel "distillation?' or processor thing. thanks.

Why dont you use WVO?
Its actually easier and better for you. Maybe you use mostly hydrogenated? |

Thanks for the reply i dont know what you are tlaking about when u say wvo but i am asking about that kit that converts used vegetable oil into useable fuel.I guess that is what you were talking about Waste vegetable oil huh seems like thats what it would be. If anyone had that thing to process the oil into fuel i would purchased in used working condition.

Google "DIY WVO filter kit" You can build them for about $50 with parts from Home Depot or Lowe's.
I need to get around and build one myself, for my Caravan diesel swap. |
yes, wvo is waste veggie oil
i ran my old mercedes on 50% wvo with NO modification 300D = bulletproof + local weather (always 70F+) = win but with more modifications to the car I could have run %100 wvo its similiar to the satisfaction you get when you drive on electricity Straight Vegetable Oil conversions (SVO) involve vehicle modifications and may cause engine damage if not used properly. Biodiesel is more expensive due to more processing, and involves harsh chemicals but can be used in any Diesel engine without any modifications. (Fuel lines must be switched to Viton or they will gradually deteriorate) Some reasons I used WVO: I didnt want to be around dangerous chemicals I dont have a large area to process it My climate is ideal (70F+) |
More stuff I have to look at... whether I want to run on only WVO, or run on some blend of both... I think I prefer just WVO... got any links that could point to what I might need to obtain/modify?

they all have their own variations of the same theme 1. At home/On Board Filtration 2. Single Tank/Dual Tank 3. Switching Solenoids 4. Heated Fuel Lines Ive done it cobbled together on a budget, but if I had the money/space I would go all out. I filtered at home and then tossed it in the tank. Fuel Filters are a must. Aw jeez, I'm going with an industrial diesel engine from an old Reefer unit... it's common rail, no electronics, etc.. I wasn't really planning on using petro diesel fuel at all, if I can get away from it.
