what up people. i am new to ecomodding but not new to car modding.
my car is a 96 dodge stratus. its not my first choice for an eco car but the price ($150) made it attractive. i have done some things to it to improve mileage and figured i should join a forum where like minded people reside.

anyone else from palm beach area?

thanks guys. i'm glad someone got my name and quickly too.

The car was purchased with a blown timing belt from my neighbour. She was going to sell it to the junkyard for $75, so I told her I would give her $150. Since I am a mechanic, I was able to pull the heads, put new valves in, lap them myself, and put it back together for about $100 in parts.

Since then I have done so many things to the car. look in the garage for a partial list of mods. (theres a reason my user name is c3h8). :P

there's my video i made. i am getting 50mpg @ 50mph with the propane on, windows down, no a/c and the alternator at 15V.

Hmmmm.... A propane powered Stratus.... That would be interesting to see.... how do you intend to implement this? Are you going to swap out the ECU for something like a Megasquirt? It will be an interesting build and I look forward to seeing what you can do with the money you saved just buying the car!

Hi, I don't intend to implement this, because I had finished version 1.0 of the injection a month ago. i'll do a little write up about it in a few days when i have enough time. I will also grab some pics so everyone can see the setup.
