New to Ecomodder and Hypermiling

Hello everyone,

I am now on my 2nd tank of hypermiling, so starting week 3 for me. I am gettin between 32 MPG and 34 MPG City and just started driving on the Highway so we will see how that goes. I live very close to the highway however I can take the back roads to work so I did not drive at all on the highway the last two weeks while I was learning how to hypermile in my car. Oh, by the way my EPA was 19 MPG City so I have almost doubled it. I live in the Orlando, FL area and think it is great that I can now go two weeks on a tank when I used to only go 5 days. Yes, I had a heavy foot and car that can really drink gas if I let it. I will let you know how the highway MPGs go.

Welcome Prof. My wife had a '98 Z-3, the best top down mpg I ever got was 38 and change. If I remember the engine was only 1.9 though.
