Have a previous thread about the difference oil makes so I won't explain again, but a new record. 681 miles / 15.5 gallons, = 43.94 mpg!

Just after getting that record, I got another one, 44.97 mpg.

And another, 45.18mpg

Wow must be the body shape and six speed transmission. My wife has a 09 Elantra with 2.0 and we get about 35 mpg highest ever was 40

I think the longer body is better aerodynamically.

Several years ago I drove 2 Altima's, both with the 4 cyl and auto trans, on the same day, same route, one was a 4 door and the other a 2 door. The 4 door got 10% better mileage.
