New driver introduction

Hi everybody! My name is Matthew and I'm only 17.

As such, I've only very recently been able to drive on my own. My current vehicle is an early 90s Geo Metro, and I enjoy how it is good on gas milage inherantly. Unfortunately, it is my parents' car.

So, I'm glad to be coming to your community and if anyone has suggestions for a good car to ecomod (I don't have a large budget but I do have lots of time to waste) or can give me some simple tips for driving effectively, I'd be very happy.

The metro is a great car, why not get yourself another one of those?

Welcome to ecomodder!

Welcome to EM! The Metro is a great option, and having two would allow you to "optimize" your parts and maintenance search. Lot's of Ecomodders with Metros means you'll have lots of good advice to lean on.

There are other good small car options. Toyota Corollas (chevy Geo Prism), Honda Civics, Saturn S-Series. If you can get a clean Honda CRX HF, then you'll be a verrrry happy camper.

What kind of car are you thinking about?
