Glad to have joined the forum!
I been dealing with a lead foot problem for years. Recently I have really started to focus on and enjoy the challenge of driving conservatively having moved away from powerful vehicles to prevent continued speeding tickets. Now instead of speeding, I annoy passengers by trying to maintain an average speed that they find too low.
Ive got 2 vehicles I use regularly-
1. an 86 jetta diesel DD, which returns high 40s mpg in economy, and id like to do better there. No mods of any kind.
2. an 89 chevy work van that is currently in a long project for economy with an engine swap I have planned, but its a brick on wheels, so id like to improve that. it does, at best with the stock powerplant, a solid 20mpg.
