Hello to all modders with fuel economy in mind
I have to say I have not been a really ecomodder, but have been energy saver about 20 years. I have a small call with very good consumption values for inside city drives. It is a Peugeot 107 (= Citroen C1 almost Toyota Aygo) which run about 181 mpg / per passenger seat. For longer travels we have Renault Grand Espace 3 (built by Matra formula car manufacturer) space ship which run 185 mpg / passenger seat. And we are about to begin a new journey about 3700 miles with that in 9 weeks. My cars run mainly 95 E10 because there has not been standard 95 available almost ten years. So real consumption is about 10% less compared to unleaded 95. |

Most powerful engine was F1 concept car twinturbo V10 with 780 hp engine. Top gear has tested the concept - see for it because I can not link it here. In this F1 model one can see many ecomodding fixes. In my opinion the hardest to ecomodding is air hitting low rear axle. |

Cars having this petrol/gasoline engine were produced years 1999-2002 for Espace 3 phase (lift) 2.
Sure Renault F motor is used in other models too. In Espace 4 it is turbocharged. 16V (valves) is model indicator. It replaced F3R which were used in Espace 3 phase 1 models. This is 8 valve version. V6 engines were provided Nissan. Edit: corrected F3R from 12V -> 8V |
