Injector kill switch installed

Ok guys(and girls) I have been trying my hand at getting better mileage out of my 87 fiero. Using the P & G method but just pushing it into nuetral has been helping, along with coasting to stop lights, signs etc. I decided to take out the fuel injection fuses (2) and install inline fuse holders and a dpdt switch to cut off the fuel when coasting. I used this switch becuase I had a few in the tool box, gonna order a momentary n/c switch to do the final install. Hoping to get closer to 35 mpg!

Cool! Please keep us informed. I got no excuse for not doing the same.

Now I'm on the right track! Did a 15 mile trip this morning and used the kill switch a few times, can already tell this is gonna work great! I understand how hybrids get their mileage.

Good work. Looks like something I could use since my engines are pretty much the same as yours.

Thanks wagonman! Cheap, fun project and its fun to pass people in "silent" mode! I grew up in Mt. Clemens btw
